The outer panels are the Atlantic — turquoise, seafoam, pale aqua, whitewash, cerulean — all those layers of water color dragged down vertically like tide marks, light on shallow water, scraped and textured so you feel the spray and the sand underneath. Cool, airy, calm. That endless blue.
And in the middle — the land. Narrow, dense, layered, lived-in. Greens of sea oats and palms and marsh grass, but also the colors of earth — red clay, orange rust, yellow sun, little pops of life built up thick with palette knife, messy and textured and real. You can see the history of it — roads, fields, rooftops, flowers, roots — all compressed into that one vertical strip between two oceans.
