"Little Girl Lost"

$425.00

She is there, and then she almost isn't.

A small pool of clear, pale turquoise — the purest, most innocent color in your palette — floats alone in the center, surrounded by a tide of adult colors that press in too close. Heavy gold, ochre, muddy taupe, bruised mauve, and shadowed white swirl around her like worried voices, like a world that got too loud, too fast.

That little flash of white lightning inside the turquoise — that's her. That bright, startled flicker of self — holding, holding, but thinning. The gold licks at the edge like hands reaching, not unkindly, but overwhelmingly. The black mat is the void around childhood, the vast, quiet space where a small voice can disappear.

It's not a portrait of a girl. It's the feeling of being small when everything around you is big and moving without you. The moment innocence understands it is alone. Painted small, framed in black, it makes the viewer lean in — and then step back, breath held.

And yet — that turquoise holds. It does not dissolve. It remains perfectly, stubbornly itself in the middle of the swirl.

A whisper of a painting that haunts a whole room.

Medium: Fluid acrylic on paper, black mat frame

Palette: Turquoise, seafoam, and white held within gold, ochre, taupe and mauve — innocence surrounded

Vibe: Tender, haunting, protective. A small, quiet piece that says what can't be said out loud.

Dimensions: 16 × 18 × 2
