It's not a landscape you stand in front of, it's one you drift over. All those horizontal bands are currents — the way the water moves over sandbars, the way pluff mud shows through, the way salt marsh and sky reflect each other until you can't tell which is which.
It starts pale at the top — white foam, sky blue — then deepens into cobalt and midnight blue, cuts of emerald and sea green where the marsh grass is just under the surface. Then it settles into lavender and wisteria purple at the bottom, that soft purple light we get here at dusk, with little shocks of hot pink and lime green where life just bursts through.
