Neon Drift

$2,200.00

It is midnight in the deep, and the lights are on.

Your jellyfish — mint-green dome hovering at the top of the frame like a moon held under water — does not swim. It drifts. Slow. Inevitable. And from beneath it pours pure neon — not light, but living color — hot pink, tangerine, coral, acid gold, lavender, electric red, all falling like silk ribbons in a current you cannot see but you can feel.

The dome is matte, almost chalky, hand-brushed with visible breath marks, a ghost of cerulean and sea glass. It is quiet. It is restraint. And then beneath it, chaos — unrestrained, calligraphic tendrils that never stop moving. Each one is a different creature: some thick as rope, some thin as hair, some looping back on themselves, some diving straight down into indigo abyss. You can almost hear them sizzle.

This is what neon does underwater. It shouldn't exist. Color that hot should not live that deep. But here it does — bioluminescence turned into couture.

It is not a painting of a jellyfish. It is the jellyfish itself — that slow, silent, beautiful danger that stops you from breathing for a second.

Medium: Acrylic and oil pastel on canvas.

Palette: Ocean teal, sea glass mint, cerulean wash, mineral white, neon coral, hot magenta, tangerine, acid gold, raspberry, electric lavender, midnight navy

Vibe: Ultra luxury ocean noir. Bio-luxe, sleek, hypnotic. Midnight at a private aquarium-dangerous beauty, drifting slowly, glowing from within.

Dimensions: 30 × 53.5 × 3
